Sister Kay Mart recently crawled out of an abandoned store where she was lured in by a shimmering blue light. After buying some Tupperware and Jordache jeans she was knocked unconscious by some falling prices. Flash forward 40 years later and Wa-La, she awoke with ESPN, an inane sense of fashion and a desire to spread light wherever there is darkness.
Kay is a ridiculous monstrosity of a muppet trudging about in 7 inch platforms spreading joy (and glitter…. and rubber ducks….and pieces of whatever clothing she’s wearing) leaving smiles and confused looks in her wake. Her primary mission as a Sister of Perpetual Indulgence is more internal; taking care of the sisters within her Abbey. However, nothing excites and gives her a more deeper sense of self than when she is fluttering about, putting smiles on peoples faces, reading stories to the chitlins and hot-gluing random objects to her gawdy, thrift store finds.
Don’t ever forget, every kiss begins with Kay…unless the herpes is flaring, then a hug will have to do.
